The Rever Story
Rever Ministries was founded in Hong Kong by Senior Pastor Simon Tan in 2013. We hope to stand as a beacon in Hong Kong, and a place of acceptance, peace and joy to everyone. Here our family, regardless of ages and backgrounds, gather to worship and serve together for the Kingdom of God.
Our Mission
We are a church family that is into Advancing the Kingdom of God through His love and His power. Our vision is to empower, equip, and release His People and Leaders into their destiny and fulfill the Great Commission by taking the love of Christ beyond the walls of the church. Having a mindset where "Church Are Without Walls"

There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.

Sometimes people come into our lives and we will know right away that they were meant to be there – to serve some sort of purpose, teach us a lesson or help figure out who we are. You won’t know who they may be – your neighbour, child, friend, lover, or even a stranger who, when you lock eyes with them, you know at that moment that they will affect your life in some profound ways.
Sometimes things happen to us and they may seem painful and unfair. But in hindsight, we realise that without overcoming those obstacles, we wouldn’t have realised our potential in strength, will power, or heart.
Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of our soul and how much do we trust in HIM, our Father in heaven.
Without these tests, life would be like a smoothly paved straight flat road to nowhere – safe and comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless.
The people you meet who affect your life, and the successes and downfalls you experience create who you are. Even the bad experiences can be learned from, especially from the regrets, the pain, and the important ones.
If someone hurts, betrays, or breaks your heart, forgive them. They have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom you open your heart.
If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally. Not just because they love you, but because they are teaching you to love, and opening your heart and eyes to things you would not have seen or felt without them.
Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again.
Talk to people you have never talked to before and actually listen, let yourself fall in love, break free and set your sights high. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself that you are a great individual and believe in yourself. If you don’t believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you. You can make of your life anything you wish.
Create your own life, then go out and live in it! Live each day as if it were your last. Tomorrow is not promised, but God is in control, His promises are ever faithful!
